Comfortable, the buds sit snugly in your ear. Sound is weighty and solid with a real sense of spaciousness

The bottom line: avoid. I bought a pair for running. Given that the name includes "Sport" I thought they would be suitable for running. Unfortunately within seconds of putting them on I felt in discomfort, and after a few minutes I was in considerable pain, and a painful sore developed on my right ear due to the speakers being pressed in to my head with excess force. These headphones are a one size fits all, so if like me you have a larger than average head, they will not be suitable. Note that I have no problem getting a bike helmet, so my head is not unusually large. The band is made from solid plastic and I found that I could physically strain the plastic, using my hands to expand it, to make it fit properly. That resulted in obvious signs of damage but it now fits. Unfortunately the sound is mediocre. There is plenty of bass but it is mushy. The mid range is decent, but the treble has a tendency to distort especially when singers hit high notes. Overall much better sound than the standard ipod headphones, but not a patch on a Sennheiser PX100. Unfortunately (or maybe not) after less than a month of ownership they fell apart. I caught the cable on a car seat, and  it pulled the speaker out of its housing and then snapped the cable. This is very poor for something described as "sport". I often caught my PX100 on objects, and it pulled it off my head with no damage. Hell, when you run, you expect to catch the cable on a gate/fence/hedge. Remember the name? PMX80 Sport? With the PX100 I found that I could hang the cable down my back, which prevented it interfering with my arms when running, and reduced the chances of it catching on a fence/gate/hedge. The PMX80 does not allow that due to the design, and I was forced to have the cable run down the left side of my chest where I often caught it with my arm. Sport? Yeah right. Overall the PMX80 is very poor. I do not recommend this product. For reference I also own Sennheiser CX50, PX100, HD600 and ATH EC700 headphones. I feel that the PMX80 is on a par with the CX50 in terms of sound quality. Ergonomically the PMX80 is not fit for sale. The design is bad. And the durability is poor. 1 star would be generous.

ha ha ha. LeifG review made me laugh! Sounds like a national lampoon film in the making!

I have these for the gym and I can't imagine gym headphones being any more perfect. Great sound and stay in place always. I often forget I'm wearing them.

The only time they are no good is when you are using weights machines or benches and have to have the back of your head pressed against the pad as the band gets in the way. Also, when using the lat pull down machine behind the neck. They will catch then too.

For cardio and fitness uses they are spot on.

Clearly LeifG has a huge head and no depth perspective given that he keeps bumping into things.

PS. Any idiot knows that they need to run the cable under their clothing when running!
