  • For

Great clarity, detail and texture, comfortable

  • Against

    Nothing of note

This MkII version of Sennheiser's Award-winning CX300 headphones improve on the originals in every way, so will likely become the de rigueur first upgrade to 'phones that come bundled with MP3 players.

Bass delivery is rousing and full-bodied without ever intruding the midrange or treble – both of which enjoy terrific detail and texture.

Dynamics and rhythm are also great for the price, and there's more spaciousness to delivery than you'd expect from very affordable in-ears.

Add a snug fit that isolates outside noise while reducing sound leakage and you've got a package that's unbeatable at this money.
