Rega's Exact is a fun listen that really does a lot right.

I felt the sturdiness of the all Pocan body (the same material used for the Roksan Corus black)and 3 bolt mounting really bonds well with the Rega arm. It's easy to mount if you first loosely attach 3rd screw from top, then the 2 main screws, line up and do final tightening. It was actually the Ortofon 2M's that gave me a feeling of cheapness relative to the price. The exact's sonic attributes are largely in line with your review. It trades a slightly smaller perspective soundstage for a concentration on musicality, temporal play and dynamics. The Exact is a very good choice for a Rega P3 or P5 turntable. Between the Corus black, the Ortofon 2M's and the Exact I found the rega exact my overall favorite on a P5. The Corus black is a very solid cartridge on a Rega table also. These would be my top 2 recs for Rega Turntable owners who want an MM cartridge. The Ortofon 2M was a bit of a let down despite being clearly marketed at the RB tonearms, too analytical for me.
