An affordable rack, that really should be on your audition list

  • For

Lightweight, easy to build, tonally balanced, good detailing, good dynamics

  • Against

    Nothing of note

It’s as light as a feather, but don’t let appearances be deceiving; Quadraspire’s nifty little Q4evo lets your kit pack a punch.

Made from metal and wood, the austere Q4evo is swift to assemble and easy to move when built.

One of the cheapest racks we've seen in many a while, through the Q4evo our kit gave us a solid, cohesive sound with a well balanced treble, taut and expressive bass and a wonderfully supple and emotive mid-range.

It handles Dot Allison’s punchy Mo’ Pop with ease and her winsome vocals really shine here.

Dynamically this little rack doesn’t lack and detailing is more than capable. For this money this should be on your audition list.
