Just purchased this system and was really impressed with it's simplicity in fitting and the sound.

However, there is a loud hissing. I'm not sure what to do about it can anyone help? I'ts not there when the system is unplugged.

While quite a few flatscreen TVs have poor sound, not all do. Philips, for example, has produced some recent models with very good sound quality from the built-in speakers.

Well, that rather depends on your definition of 'Real Hi-Fi'. I'm completely confident Q-TV2 delivers a performance comparable with good mini/midi systems of a similar price -- and you don't have the dilemma of 'where to put it?' Because Q-TV2 hides on the back of your TV.

No substitute for real Hi-Fi!

At the risk of sounding like a luddite, have we been sold a pup with flat screen TVs? To get a decent sound you now have to strap extra speakers on! Can't blame Q Acoustics for coming up with a solution to a problem they didn't create but can't TV manufacturers just include decent speakers in the first place, something along the lines of soundbar for example?
