I could determine no difference in sound quality between the 2010s and the 2020s apart from a 'larger' more pleasing sound which I opted for.
When I got them home I didnt realise the bass would be so overblown with my current speaker stand positions so I promptly plugged in the foam pieces in the rear ports.
BAD MISTAKE...the music had died !!
So I removed them and adjusted the distance from the back wall to about 30cm. Fantastic!!!
Yes they are fussy about placing but once set up they are truly amazing speakers...detail, clarity, rhythm, musicality.
The Tannoys by the way were truly awful...sorry guys. I found them incoherent, muddled and cannot handle female vocals which will do any kind of justice to the artists.
Thoroughly recommend the 2020s (only using NAD 3020 and NAIM NACA4 cable to drive them).

How do they compare to the 2010's?
I bought these a couple of weeks ago.
