I love(d) it, for all of 4 years then it died last week. It won't fire up at all on mains power, which we have isolated to a problem within the radio rather than the power lead. It does seem to be running OK on battery (until that dies, given I have no way of recharging it).
Reading other Pure reviews, I've got exactly the same shabby treatment from Pure - no possibility for repair, and the the offer to buy a replacement direct from Pure at what they call a 'substantial' discount - £76! This is only marginally lower than the current price on Amazon and I'm sure makes them more money than if they sold via a retailer.
What a con. By any reckoning a radio should last for more than 4 years - I would certainly expect better from a premium priced product -and would be a fool to throw more money at something that has proved so unreliable.
