I have this tv and works like a charm (incl 1080p). Update to latest firmware. Activated Perfect pixel HD in the service menu instead of Pixel plus 3HD.
Picture is absolutely excellent, but takes hours to experiment with picture setting.
This TV will not show 1080p !!! It converts 1080p to 1080i in order to show it. With the PC is even worse. It cannot display a stable picture (lots of flickering or if you set the concetion to PC it's even worse from interlacing problems). I can not understand how can you give this TV five stars !

And you tryed it with pc at 1080p? Is there no flickering shutter?

why do you have this model and it's ok?
you must have a faulty set.
