Firm, comfortable fit for the snowboarders they're designed for and they sound not at all bad

    Sibilance to the treble

These Nixon headphones are designed with snowboarders in mind, so it should come as no surprise that they have a very firm, but comfortable, fit.

They produce a nicely open, spacious sound with very good clarity and impressive bass weight and depth.

The bass isn’t as taut as it could be – producing a sound that’s a touch lethargic compared to the very best – while there’s also a touch of sibilance to the treble.

Still, this is the first pair of Nixons we’ve looked at: all-in-all, they’re not bad.
