I have mine paired up with an Onkyo 605 amp and using a PS3 and iPod nano as sources. QED silver anniversary XT speaker wires.
I am really impressed with this set up. I totally agree with the WHFSAV review in that the rear speakers don't bowl you over, but they are more convenient in a samller room as they are on the wall instead of on stands. If you do have the room, consider substituting the BRFX with the BR1s or another pair of BR2s as there isn't too much difference in price.
It took a while for the system to break in. Straight out of the box they are on the harsher end of bright, but after about a week they had warmed up nicely.
For this price group, they are by far the best option. If you have a bit more to spend, look at the B&W 685 package or even the Dali Ikon package if you are loaded!
