Love the sound. the long term problem is the weak cable..

I had to re-solder the plug twice and now ended up with broken cable near the bud so now have mono-headphones

Soundwise-haven't heard better in-ears.

In a nutshell these earbuds are a bit of a nightmare...but in a good way! They produce a sound that makes your music addictive! Words that spring to mind when listening to these little gems are crisp, punchy and dynamic. The amount of detail they throw down your lug holes is remarkable. It's essential to choose the buds that fit your ears carefully ..and insert them deep! The amount of information they pull out of my Sony MP3 player is *slightly* jawdropping !

I actually like these headphones. The sound is very natural , but it is really important to get the right pads and the right fit, and insert them enough (which is scarily deep).  That said, the price is ridiculous... and I had expected the bass to be more prominent.  But I have experienced zero distortion at full volume.

Another thing is...they are pretty good at sound isolation, so much so that when you actually want to make a phonecall...you can't hear yourself which is very weird. You have no idea if you're shouting or talking like an idiot but I've been told I can be heard very well using the mic just hanging down.  Would be better to put the mic nearer the mouth though? then it wouldn't rub on the clothing as you walk.

This is the third product I've bought on the back of 5 star reviews or awards in What Hi-Fi. Yet again however the price and review does not match the performance, I'm not sure what the reviewers at what Hi-Fi are listenning to but the Klipsch earphones are very disappointing and do not merit any awards. 

I've made my friends test them just to check that it's not the size of the earbuds or my ears that is the problem! They could not believe when I mentioned how much they cost. I tried them with different sources, they tend to distorte at high level and the bass is quite weak!

With reviews like this it makes it difficult to trust What Hi-fi anymore.

I have just bought a pair of these buds and am very diappointed with them, They have a top end that distorts far too easily. Cymbols in particular, are easily provoked, becoming splashy at the drop of a hat, especially when the volume is cranked up. The lower mids are also very lacking which makes for a very unsatisfactory listen. Very disappointed and gutted that I spent the money on them.

Just love these. Had them for a couple of weeks now and it's listening to some of my tracks for the first time. They can be revealing of a poorly recorded source though, so use the highest bit rate you can on your portable device. I'm using ALAC on my phone and the quality is simply stunning. These are the first phones I've owned that really show the benefit of the higher bit rate.

After a long line of ear phones, including Bose, Atomic Floyd, Sennheiser, Bang & Olufsen and Panasonic to mention but a few, these little beauties are the Holy Grail. What more can I say? Get some! Fin.

There are much better sounding and more reliably built alternatives at the cost.  Single BA iems for �200+?  No thanks.

I can see the X10i is still using the soft silicon pads to fit inside the ears. They are too soft and 'leak' as you move your head. The sound is awesome but the 'leak' irritates me. And they are uncomfortatble as they go inside the ear canals too much - again due to the soft pads.
