I couldn't disagree more. I've got the X1's, and after the thick, overblown mid-bass of the CX300-II's, I thought the X1's were a revelation.

I have a pair of these and again i couldn't disagree more. As long as your mp3's are of a good bitrate, the frequency response is impressive-definitely a credible alternative to CX300's and built better too!
