I purchased a pair of X16s after listening to them at Practical Hi-Fi in Bolton (excellent service).
These speakers are definately 5 star products and I think What Hi-Fi have got it wrong. The sound quality is awesome with loads of resolution and good bass weight.
The rest of my system is Cyrus and I use Chord interconnects and speaker cable.
