Haven't noticed any difference worth mentioning.

How much better than the QED Silver Anniversary XT (Bi-Wire)?

I've just got the Silver Screens and they've given much greater punch to bass, brought out lots of extra detail, and improved the sound stage. And all that on a budget system (Marantz 6002 amp and cd player, plus B&W 602.3). Great, authoritative purchase. Also added Chord Crimsons, I'm delighted with the results. Thoroughly recommended.

It also 'really amazes me' that people who don't spend a lot of time blind-testing a wide range of cables (as we do) have such knee-jerk negative reactions.
But to answer your questions - the Chord cable does incredibly well what any cable in its position should do: simply delivers the sound.
You'd be amazed how many cables, for example, dull or dampen the dynamics of a track - robbing it of that authority we mention - or muddy the detail so a track loses its cohesion.

Exactly what do you mean when a cable is described as "authorative"?? It really does amaze me how much nonsense is spoken about cables in Hifi circles. Yes a decent £6/m cable made of decent stranded copper with shielding will sound better that bell-wire, but "authorative" and "cohesive"???? oh for heavens sake............
