Cambridge Audio HDMI 2m
For
Impressive level of detail; pictures are relatively free from instability
Against
Sounds lean and hard
A good upgrade need not cost the earth, as this budget offering from Cambridge Audio goes to show.
It doesn't look particularly spectacular but, for the money, it's well made and flexible. With pictures, it excavates an impressive level of detail.
Edge definition is good and the picture is relatively free from any instability. The only drawback relates to sound quality: it sounds lean and hard.
This cable lacks the solidity and full-bodied delivery of the likes of QED's HDMI-P.
