It is a 4 from me, the reason it is a 4 from me is mainly because of these factors, one the remote is not really that great, you can't access the ipod menu like with other remotes also you have to point the remote at the zeppelin to get the remote to work. Two is because the soundstage is extremely poor, most people generally don't care, especially if you are new to hi end audio equipment, but the soundstage is ghastly. And three is because you have to be very careful where you put it, if you position it wrong, it can sound terrible. On the good side is that the design is beautiful, the highs, the mids, and the lows are great, it is nice you don't have to have dock adaptors, and it has a very strong solid feel. Overall I like it but I was hoping for a tad more!

I bought the B&W to play some background music at our wedding last year, after being told the church had no facility to play music from an Ipod.
Boy am I glad I did, the vicar initially set up a mic in front of the speakers to "Boost" the volume. On the day it turned out the mic had not even been switched on. The sound quality was incredible, and filled the church wonderfully. I would recommend this highly to anyone, try it before you buy (In a church with Craig Armstrongs -Romeo & Juliette music if you want the same experience, just don't fluff your vows up like me ;-)

Im a bit of a newbie to the serious end of all things sound and vision but always thought i had an idea what good sound was. Then I heard my iphone on a B&W zeppelin. WOW!! I couldn't beleive that this sound was coming out of such a small, amzing looking unit. I had to have one! And I've got to say even if the unit was a bit further up the price range, I would've still brought it. What a slick piece of kit. The only problem is, because of the zeppelin (well B&W!) I ended spending alot of money I don't have on B&W speakers for my living room. BEWEAR! The zepplin could bankrupt you, IT'S JUST THAT GOOD!!

A software update is on it's way to allow iphones to play video. It is in beta testing. As soon as it is released I will be adding the Zeppelin to the top of my wish list.

Fantastic bit of kit. Works well with the iPhone and as Michael points out it's great to network your sounds via an AirPort Express connected via the optical Toslink connection. Videos on your iPod also looks good from the s-video output, pictures on your TV, sound from your Zeppelin. Unfortunately, I can't get video to work with my iPhone?
If there's one gripe its that if you have your iPhone plugged in but are listening to the AUX connection the Zeppelin doesn't interrupt your listening when the iPhone rings, as happens when listening from the iPhone. The Zeppelin can be updated via USB so this functionality, I suppose, could be included in a future update?
Go buy one!

I have this for a month now and I'm still amazed of the quality of this speaker.
I use this in 2 ways 1 running my iPod as per the use and streaming my library via an Airport Express with a toslink output. It handle all types of music extremely well and is a delight to listen to.
