Listened to this system and the Naim Uniti with a set of the new B&W CM8's last week and have to say the sound is superb, especially from CD's. The music was warm and rich with very little treble splash and bass colourisation. The Naim unit was equally good but compared to the Arcam I personally found the Naim to be crisp, fast, clinical and in a rush compared with the Arcam. After switching several times I have decided that the Arcam has that better richer and room warming sound over the Naim. The downside for me on the Arcam is the lack of digital inputs compared to the Naim, if your looking to hook up wii, apple tv, DVD and sky (as I am) then the Naim offers the better connectivity without the additional boxes needed with the Arcam. I'm still trying to decide what is the best option to take given the number of connection requirements I have, more than happy to listen to suggestions but I am sticking with the CM8 speakers as they just ooze quality and performance across the range.
