Sony PSP Go - app store on the way?
Sony is planning an app store of its own for the PSP and PSP Go, according to our esteemed colleagues on Stuff.tv.
It's believed 50 developer studios are already working on "new kinds of games and applications" for both the PSP and PSP Go.
We don't yet know when the service will launch, but Sony intends to provide the same kind of super-quick, casual games featured in the iTunes App Store as well as more practical apps.
The games for the new platform will be small enough to download via wi-fi, at around 20Mb each, and should take less than a minute to download with a good connection.
Unlike Apple, Sony has not made the development kit for the new service free.
