This is the new Domino D3 digital radio from Scottish company Revo, one of a three-strong range offering facilities such as DAB, FM, wi-fi, streaming radio and iPod connectivity.
Selling for £170, the Domino D3 comes complete with a 30-day trial subscription to online music service Last.fm.It has DAB/DAB+ and FM RDS reception, will receive internet radio and stream music from any PC or Mac computer using its integral Wi-Fi connection, and has a built-in iPod dock compatible with models up to the iPod Touch and iPhone.Digital amplification is used, along with NXT's Balanced Radiator speaker technology, and control is via an OLED display and a 'joystick' input device.Slotting in below the D3 are the £130 Domino D2, which has DAB/DAB+, FM and the iPod dock, and the £150 D2, which is a dedicated Wi-Fi internet model with built-in FM and the iPod dock.The products will be shown at next week's Hong Kong Electronics Fair, and will go on sale on November 1st in the UK, via stockists including John Lewis and Marks and Spencer.
