Philips cuts flatscreen TV prices

Philips 42PFL9664 – now £1500

Philips has adopted a policy of charging premium prices on some of its new 2009 flatscreen TVs, but the good new is that it's now cutting the cost of two if its latest models.

The 42PFL9664, which features strongly in our October 2009 TV Supertest, falls by £200 from £1700 to £1500.

And the company's 32PFL7404, which we'll be testing in our November issue 32in TV Supertest (on sale September 16th), drops by £50 to £650.
