10bn iTunes downloads: that's a lot of Cash
The iTunes Store has just passed its ten billionth song download, and the customer responsible for hitting the milestone could well be downloading a bit more – they've just won a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card.

Louie Sulcer of Woodstock, Georgia, downloaded Johnny Cash's Guess Things Happen That Way, and in so doing picked up the prize as the winner of Apple's ITunes 'Countdown to 10 Billion Songs' promotion.

Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of Internet Services, said "We're grateful to all of our customers for helping us reach this amazing milestone.

“We're proud that iTunes has become the number one music retailer in the world, and selling 10 billion songs is truly staggering.”

I'm still laughing at the iTunes head honcho being called E Cue...

Well, congrats to both Apple and the lucky winner.

I agree Ituens is a great way of getting and playing music. The con is that they do not have hi-resollution music. I would buy much more if they had and owudl pay a reasonable premium. Hopefully, there is enough demand there for Ituens to one to offer hi-res option.
