You need never be a discerning TV watcher again, thanks to the proliferation of huge hard disk drive recording machines. The latest addition to the market is a 500GB version of the Humax PVR-9300T.
Adding an extra 180GB compared to the original PVR-9300T, the new Humax will set you back £249 as opposed to £199 for the 320GB model.
The new unit will be available exclusively through John Lewis stores and online. The new model has the same spec as the '9200T – bar the hard disk – so still boasts twin tuners for recording two programmes at once.
Thanks to the 500GB hard disk drive you can record up to 300 hours of content, while there's still HDMI upscaling and features such as schedule tracking.
The 500GB Humax PVR-9300T is available now from John Lewis for £249.

When are we likely to see a review of the PVR9300T?

Response from Humax:
"At present, John Lewis is the exclusive retail partner to Humax for the 500GB PVR9300T. Humax do have a certain amount of stock that is available directly through them online."

Good find. We guess the 'exclusive' may refer to high street stores, not online. We're awaiting confirmation from Humax's PR.
