Boston Acoustics is expanding its range of Horizon tabletop music systems with the launch of the £449 Trio, a compact stereo CD radio system with DAB/AM/FM tuner. It also comes with the HRD-i iPod dock.
As with all Boston Acoustics models, there's a range of optional coloured grilles to add to the gloss white and piano black gloss cabinets.
The Trio is equipped with twin 9cm speakers, a slot-load CD drive for CD and MP3 playback, line and stereo headphone outputs and BassTrac audio processing.
Dual independent alarm clocks with sleep timers are built in, and the entire front aluminium trim of the radio is a touch-sensitive snooze bar.
